Thomas Franklin Haire, Sr., 64, of Middleburg passed away at 1:16 pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Evangelical Community Hospital.
He was born on January 27, 1953 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Harry and Ruth (Hafer) Haire. On March 30, 1975, he married the former Gloria F. Smith, who survives. Together, they shared years of memories.
He was a graduate of Lewisburg High School class of 1971.
Tom was a perfectionist in his trade of drywall for over 40 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping.
Surviving are two daughters, Tessa Lyons of Mifflinburg, Ashley Haire and Fiancé Clinton Prather, Jr of Harrisburg, three grandchildren, Avery Lyons, Ava Prather, Trey Prather, one brother, Larry and wife Trish Haire of Lewisburg. He is also survived by his two dogs, Lizzie and Zeke.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Fallon.
Services will be conducted private at the convenience of the family.
