Stephen Joseph Kresen, 47, of Nanticoke, died suddenly on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016. Spending his early years on the family farm near Alfarata, and his later childhood near Beaver Springs, he was an outdoor child who loved the freedom of riding bikes till dark, playing in the creek, and leading his younger brother into shenanigans. Born September 25, 1969, in Lewistown, he was the son of Sharon Pletcher of Corinth, Texas and Stephen Kresen of New Berlin, the father of Zachary Kresen of Middleburg, and the brother of AmyJo (Kresen) McCardell of Landenberg, PA and Eric Kresen of Sunbury.
Stevie was proud of his accomplishments as a master in drywall finishing and was recognized for his work ethic and skill on stilts. He enjoyed movies, jigsaw puzzles, shooting pool, and spending time with family and friends. His devilish laugh and playful spirit will be missed. The family will reach out through social media to family and friends with details on a memorial service.
