Shawn P. Crossgrove

Shawn P. Crossgrove, 47, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on October 24, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital.

Born on May 12, 1972 in Allentown, the son of Suzanne Mary Odell-Sampsell and stepfather William Sampsell of Mifflinburg and the late Orvis Daniel Crossgrove, Jr.

Shawn attended Mifflinburg school where he played soccer. He graduated for East Juanita High School In 1990.

He most recently worked at El Sol Mexican Restaurant in Harrisburg, Pa and managed their restaurant Taco Solo. He also managed The Scarlet D Tavern. He loved working with the public. He was loved by all who knew him and wanted to help anyone in anyway he could. He had a kind heart.

Shawn loved animals especially cats and leaves behind his cat, Sadie.  He loved his nieces and nephews and cared deeply for his family.

Surviving in addition to his mother and stepfather is one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Richard Hornberger of Mifflinburg, one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Wenda Crossgrove of Mifflinburg, six  nieces and nephews Ashley, Seth, Sarah, Anna, Daniel and Michael, and four great nieces and nephews, Malenah, Lilanna, Carter, Levi.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
