Sarah E. Oberdorf, 90, of Mifflinburg passed away at 6:45 p.m., on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont
She was born on September 21, 1924 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Hugh J. Aikey and Lena K. (Aikey) Aikey. On July 6, 1945, she married Carl J. Oberdorf, who passed away on October 27, 1979.
Sarah was a homemaker and previously worked at Quaker Manufacturing, Lewisburg.
She attended Church of Christ and Christian Union, Lewisburg.
Sarah enjoyed sewing, and doing crossword puzzles.
Surviving is one son and one daughter-in-law, Carl E. and Brenda Oberdorf, Mifflinburg, two daughters and two sons-in-law, Joan L. and Carson R. Stahl, Mifflinburg Dianne A. and Roy Lloyd, Mifflinburg, three brothers, Mervin E. Aikey, Mifflinburg, Clarence R. Aikey, Florida, Howard W. Aikey, Mifflinburg, five sisters, Vera L. Kreisher, Mifflinburg, Rachel L. Lohr, Mifflinburg, Anna M. Mook, Mifflinburg, Nancy V. Crossgrove, Mifflinburg, Bonnie E. Schell, Tunkhannock, five grandchildren, Roy Lloyd, Jr., Chrisiti Wilhour, Curt Stahl, Carl Oberdorf Jr., Matthew Oberdorf, two great-grandchildren, Eric Wilhour, Ellen Wilhour.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Galen Aikey, Hugh Aikey Jr., two sisters, Amelia Hanselman and Edna Oberdorf.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1 to 2 on Tuesday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 2, with retired pastor John Saultz, officiating.
Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
