Sandra Dewire Snyder, 82, of Lewisburg, entered into rest surrounded by family on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on August 29, 1942, in Watsontown, the daughter of the late Freeman A. and Edith (Long) Dewire. On July 2, 1961, she married Clair F. Snyder Jr, who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Lewisburg High School class of 1960.
Sandra retired from Evangelical Community Hospital, having worked in the registration department.
She was a member of Beaver Memorial Methodist Church.
Sandra enjoyed scrapbooking and was an avid reader.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Trent Shultz of Watsontown, Kim and Matthew Doebler of Lewisburg, one son and daughter-in-law, Todd Snyder and Wendy Walton of Colleyville, TX, five grandchildren, Andrew, Lesleigh, Morgan, Grace, and Bailey, two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Emma, and one brother, Terry Valliquet of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Keeping with Sandra's wishes, there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sandra's memory may be sent to the American Kidney Fund.
