Sally J. Brangan, 86, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 7:47 pm on Saturday on June 27, 2020, at her residence.
She born on June 15, 1934 in Northumberland, a daughter of the late Robert Yerg and Sarah (Whipple) Yerg.
Sally was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School Class of 1942.
She was a retired cook from the Laurelton State Village. Earlier in life she worked for NASA as an electrician for the Apollo Space program.
She was a member of Lewisburg American Legion.
Sally enjoyed fishing at Walker's lake and reading her bible.
Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Dale Wert of Mifflinburg, three grandchildren, Renee Wert and companion Jimmy Shatto of Mifflinburg, Dale E. and wife Shelly Wert of Northumberland, Chris Wert of Mifflinburg, four grandchildren, one sister and brother- in- law, Betty and Vernon Shipman of Mill Hall, and a nephew, Robert Lee and wife Karen Hunt of Mifflinburg.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Paul Yerg, and two sisters, Patricia Fenstermacher, and Sandra Jean Hunt her twin.
