Roy G. Bordwick, 90 of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 12:25 am on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his residence.
Born on May 19, 1930 in Staten Island, NY, a son of the late Gustav and Magda ( Christmason) Bordwick. On September 8, 1951, he married the former Mary Ann Johnson, who passed away on October 16, 2019.
Roy worked worked for Engler Instrument Co., where he designed the hub odometer used on trailers in the transportation industry, which he received a patent on the device. He then worked for General Dynamics, and Litton Industries, as a technology and project engineer designing microwave components that went to NASA to support their various programs. Earlier in life he worked at a local airport on Staten Island as a mechanic.
Roy enjoyed flying, and traveling.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one son, Carl Bordwick of Mazeppa, and one daughter, Kirsten Bordwick and husband Robert Bolmarcich of Atlanta GA.
Services will be conducted privately at the discretion of the family.Surviving are .
