Robert J. Troutman, 88, of Milton entered into rest at 11:12 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Watsontown Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
He was born on June 14, 1929 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Robert J. and Margaret (Heidler) Troutman. On August 22, 1958, he married Barbara Ann Weller, who passed away on March 31, 2017.
Bob was US Army veteran serving from 1947 to 1949.
He was a member of the 40/8 Club.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving are five daughters and sons-in-law: Gayle Thomas of Milton, Donna and Steven Rider of Milton, Frances and Grover Mixell of Jessup, GA, Brenda and Randy Evans of Twin City, GA, Karen And Gene Warren of Fayetteville, PA; one son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Debby Troutman, Jr of New Columbia; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great- great grandchild; two sisters, Judith Knowles of Lewisburg, Edna Miller of Enola; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Rider; one great grandson, Nicholas Divirgilio; and two brothers, Edward Snyder and Bill Snyder, one sister, Mary Rearick.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 12 to 1 pm on Wednesday at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 1 pm , with Pastor James River, officiating.
Interment will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
