Richard R. "Dick" Ruhl

Richard R. "Dick" Ruhl, 81, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Monday, September 25, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family.

Born on October 13, 1941 in Swengel, the son of the late Robert G. and Freida U. (Catherman) Ruhl. On August 17, 1987 he married the former Jane Lohr, who survives.

 He was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class of 1959.

Dick retired from Yorktown as a supervisor. He previously held positions as payroll clerk and plant manager.

He was a member of the Vicksburg Rod and Gun Club and the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club.

Upon retiring he enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends throughout the country. He loved spending time with his grandkids, fishing, camping, hunting, boating, and waterskiing.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife, Jane, are 5 children, Tammy L. Ruhl of St Petersburg, FL, Tracy Lou Ruhl of Milton, Rick Ruhl, Jr of Katy, TX, Robert R and Kendra J. Ruhl of Selinsgrove, Tracy M Weeks of Mifflinburg, six grandchildren, Josh, Morgan, Austin, Kyle, Tyler, and Dakoda.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri L. Ruhl.

Family and friends are invited to a Life Celebration Service to honor Dick at 11 Am on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Burkholder's Youth Center, 3150 New Berlin Mountain Road, Lewisburg. Guests will be received by the family from 10 to 11 Am. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship along with a meal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dick's memory may be sent to Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
