Raymond D. Whitehill, 70, of 295 New Berlin Highway, Middleburg entered into rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on November 01, 1944 in Bellefonte, a son of the late Walter Roland Whitehill and Grace Edna (Stover) Whitehill.
Raymond graduated from State College High School and trained at the Hobart Welding School followed by a five apprenticeship with the Pipefitters Union.
He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged following a tour in Vietnam War.
Raymond worked as a Journeyman welder for 40 years with the Pipefitters Union 530.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are four brothers, James Whitehill of Aaronsburg, Stan Whitehill of Tusseyville, Ben Whitehill of Lock Haven, Danny Whitehill of Spring Mills, Denny Whitehill of Boalsburg, and one sister, Wanda Maines of Loganton. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Raymond’s wishes there will be no services.
Funeral arrangements are by the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg.
