Randy Alan Sampsell, 51, of 2093 Buffalo Creek Road, Mifflinburg entered into rest at 3:30 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on December 12, 1960 in Lewisburg, the son of Mary Esther (Strahan) Sampsell of Lewisburg and the late Francis Eugene Sampsell.
Randy was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School, class of 1978.
Prior to becoming disabled Randy had worked at Ritz-Craft Corp., Mifflinburg for 15 years.
He was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman's Association.
Randy was a bird watcher, and raised game birds, such as, Quail, and Ring- necked Pheasants.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching all forms of racing.
Surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law; William C. and Suzanne M. Sampsell of Mifflinburg, Wayne L. Sampsell of Sunbury, five sisters and three brothers-in-law; Judy and Larry Braden of Sunbury, Janet Matters of Sunbury, Paula and Wayne Klingman of Mifflinburg,Roberta Snyder of Watsontown, Esther and Stephen Lenhart of Friendsville, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is one son; Randy Alan Guisewite on January 23, 2008, one brother; Brian Sampsell, on September 11, 1988.
Services will be conducted privately at the discretion of the family.
