Paul F. Roush, 63, of 13360 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont entered into rest at 9:59 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center.
He was born on April 11, 1949 in West Buffalo Township, Union County a son of the late Randall Foster and Lucy Carolina (Hetrick) Roush. On July 14, 1973, in Mifflinburg at the First Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Fred Pick, he married the former Sandra Jean Heimbach, who survives. Together, they shared 39 years of memories.
Paul was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class of 1967.
Paul was engaged in farming on the HE-RO Springs Farm in Lewis Township, Union County. His first job out of High School was as a stone mason with Gene W. Lloyd Masonry for 10 years. He also worked for Advance Concrete Systems, Middleburg.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Mifflinburg and the Central Pennsylvania Vintage Iron Club.
Paul enjoyed camping with the family, fishing, hunting, turkey shoots, woodworking, playing cards, and snowmobiling. His greatest joys were spending time with family, babysitting, and playing games with all his grandchildren.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Wendi Roush of Weikert, three daughters and two sons-in-law; Paula and Michael Kuhns of Millmont, Jennifer Sawyer of Mifflinburg, Kelly and Steve Reiff of Lewisburg, eight grandchildren; Breanna, Kobly and McKenna Roush, Taylor and Whitney Kuhns, Alexis Sawyer, Hayden and Tyler Reiff, and one granddaughter on the way, three sister and three brothers-in-law; Peggy and James Diehl of Mifflinburg, Judy and Wayne Rishel of Mifflinburg, Jean and Bill Wolfe of Mifflinburg, one brother, Randall and Betty Roush of Mifflinburg, mother-in-law, Dorothy M. Heimbach of Millmont, brother and sister-in-laws, Ken and Tina Heimbach of Millmont.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Braden Wolfe.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday and from 10 to 11 AM on Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12 East Market Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with the Rev. Wayne S. Krell, officiating.
Interment will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
