Nevin Alan Walter, 56, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his residence.
Born on December 29, 1965 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Richard and Leona (Ramsey) Walter. On October 5, 2013 he married the former Elizabeth Swartz, who survives.
Nevin was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class 1984.
Nevin worked as a flagger for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until medical retirement in 2013. Earlier in life he worked for Snook's Mill and Yorktowne.
He was a life member of Mifflinburg Hose Co., and he served as an EMT and firefighter earlier in life.
Nevin enjoyed taking pictures, making movies, and tying flies.
Surviving is one daughter Abigail Walter and a brother, Richard and wife Kyra Walter of Federal Way, Washington, niece, Jenna Hollenbach and her family of Lewisburg, nephew, Timothy and wife Rhianna Walter and family of Milton, nieces, Gabriella Walter, Hanna Walter, and Tabitha Spangler, nephew, Jacob Kerstetter, As well numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Teresa Spangler, and a bother, Timothy Walter.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the New Berlin American Legion, Water Street, New Berlin from 2-4 PM on 29 Oct. '22. Location, basement meeting hall. Friends, family, public are invited. No alcohol will be served. Parking is on the lower level, but please leave some space for immediate family and those with handicaps and disabilities.
