Nancy Lou Stahl

Nancy Lou Stahl, 71, of 56 Three Springs Lane, Mifflinburg passed away at 1:57 PM on Monday, March 12, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family. Nancy was breast cancer survivor of 26 years.

She was born on February 24, 1941 in Winfield, the daughter of Beulah A. (Straub) Mull of Selinsgrove and the late Samuel A. Mull. On August 18, 1956, she married William Robert Stahl, who survives. Together, they shared 55 years of memories.

Nancy attended Selinsgrove Area Schools.

Mrs. Stahl worked as a seamstress for over 20 years at New Quaker Manufacturing, Mifflinburg, retiring in 2002. She also worked as an AVON Representative for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included; listening to country music, reading magazines, mending, collecting antiques and home decor items.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters-in-law; William Stahl Jr. and wife Debra, Alan Stahl and Wife Diane, two daughters and one son-in-law; Barbara Heimbach and Husband Benjamin, Carol Wohlhieter and Fiance Gary Wagner, all of Mifflinburg, six grandchildren, Barry, Jessica, Nichole, Yvonne, Nathan,and Chastity, seven great grandchildren, three brothers; Francis "Satch" Mull of Selinsgrove, Kenneth Mull of Northumberland, William Mull of Selinsgrove, five sisters; Helen Walters of Pleasant Grove, Arlene Thomas of Sunbury, Shirl Ramsey of Selinsgrove, Mary Bottinger of Montandon, and Linda Heddings of Selinsgrove.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother in infancy.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday and from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 with the Rev. Johnny Blake, officiating.

Interment will be in the Chestnut Hills Cemetery, Winfield.
