Nancy Jean Fritz, 70, of 636 Front Street, New Berlin, entered into rest at 6:56 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born on August 16, 1942 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Dyer) Snyder. On July 9, 1959 in Mifflinburg, she married Roland Fritz, who survives. Her death breaks a martial union of fifty two years.
Nancy was a seamstress. She first was employed by Huntingdon Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg and later by Middleburg Sportswear and Tara Lee clothing factories.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden, knitting, and crocheting. She loved to spend time with her cats.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jeff Fritz of New Berlin and a sister, Arlene Snyder of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by a son Barry Fritz.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1 to 2 on Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 2, with The Rev. Wayne Krell, officiating.
Interment will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
