A son of the late William C. and Sarah E. (Laudenslager) Koppenheffer.
On May 10, 1952 he married Pearl I. Bitner and they were together for over 50 years until her death in 2004.
Graduate of Sunbury High School Class of 1945 and a WWII U.S. Navy veteran.
He was employed as a tool designer by Avco Lycoming-Textron in Williamsport for 38 years until his retirement in 1990.
Surviving are one son, William C. Koppenheffer, of Kaneohe, Hawaii and one daughter and son in law, Ellen Koppenheffer and Alexander Vergara of Honolulu, Hawaii and their sons Andrew, Conrad, and Kevin Vergara.
Surviving are one sister, Ellen Bucher of Shamokin Dam, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Koppenheffer and sister, Virginia M. Hoffman.
He was cremated on January 31, 2015.
