Melvin Alvin Fulmer, 88, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on October 1, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on August 11, 1932 in Cherry Twp, Sullivan County, the son of the late Alvin Faye Fulmer and Thelma (Gregory) Fulmer. On July 16, 1961, he married the former Roberta Ann (Roush) Fulmer, who survives.
Melvin was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Mifflinburg.
He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
Melvin worked as a mechanic for American Home foods, Milton for over 40 years.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda (Fulmer) and James S. Ocker of Mifflinburg, a son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Kelleah Fulmer of New Albany, IN, two grandchildren, Ashley Fulmer, John Fulmer, seven siblings, Bradley D. Fulmer, Carole Ulrich, Roger Fulmer, Ricky Fulmer, Sherry White, Donna Bacon, and Gary Fulmer.
He was predeceased by a brother, Marvin Fulmer.
Services will be conducted privately for immediate family members.
Burial will be in Mifflinburg Cemetery.
