Matthew Todd Bowersox, 52, of Mifflinburg passed away at 8:25 pm on July 10, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on August 17, 1967 in Lewisburg, the son of Thomas D. and Carolyn M. (Hackenberg) Bowersox of Mifflinburg.
He was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class of 1985.
Matt was employed at Brookside Homes, Selinsgrove as a sales consultant and previously worked at The Decorating Center, Mifflinburg. He was also an independent blind installer working with Art of Living Design Studio, Mifflinburg.
He attended Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.
Matt was a car enthusiast and enjoyed dirt track racing, and NASCAR. In his earlier years he enjoyed softball, basketball.
Spending time with his family was important to him. He loved his girls dearly; they were his pride and joy. He would also enjoy talking sports with his older brother, Dane.
Matt will be remembered as a people person, he was always happy and had a smile on his face.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three daughters, Carrington Alexis Bowersox, Skyelar Kennedy Bowersox, Gabriella Kendall Bowersox, one brother, Dane A. Bowersox of Penndel, PA, one sister and brother-in-law, Suzette Lea and Calvin Vennie of Raleigh, NC, Also, surviving is the mother of his children, Amy (Zeiders) Bowersox of Kratzerville, and two nephews, Avery Bowersox, Xavier Vennie.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road, Milton where the service to celebrate Matt's life will be held at 1 pm, with Pastor's Michael Sweigard and Branden Mestach, officiating. The family requests that attendee's wear face coverings and follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.
Interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed or dropped off at Mifflinburg Bank and Trust, 250 E. Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 in care of “Matthew Bowersox Family Memorial Fund".
