Mary Elizabeth Oldt, 83, formerly of Winfield, entered into rest on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Milton Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born on August 1, 1934 in Lewisburg, PA a daughter of the late Cloyd and Anna (Keefer) Kistler. On September 6, 1952, she married the George Warren Oldt, who passed away on November 9, 2014.
She was a member of the St. John’s Union Church of Dry Valley.
Mary worked at Pennsylvania House as a seat weaver for 27 years. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and bowling.
Surviving are three sons, George Oldt and his wife, Gloria of Mobile, AL, David Oldt and his wife, Zoe of Mifflinburg and Paul Oldt of Watsontown; two daughters, Linda Richards and her husband Bob of Mifflinburg, and Penny Butters of Bloomsburg; 6 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, and one sister, Gertrude Moyer of Northumberland.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Paul Oldt, a brother, Allen Kistler, and two sisters, Blanche Hackenberg and Charlotte Sassaman
Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 10-11:00 am on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at St. John’s Union Church of Dry Valley, Winfield, where Mary’s celebration of life service will begin at 11 with the Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s memory may be sent to St. John’s Union Church of Dry Valley, 3667 St. Route 304, Winfield, PA 17889 or to a charity of one’s choice.
