Margaret M. (Schnee) Geise

Margaret Matilda Geise, 95, of Route 304, Winfield, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:48 a.m. at Heritage Memory Care, Lewisburg.

Born on November 26, 1922 in, Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late George Elmer and Helen E. (Forster) Schnee.  On September 06, 1947, she married the former George Alvin Geise, Jr. who passed away on March 23, 1987.

Margaret was a 1941 Graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

Margaret was a homemaker.

Margaret was a member of Saint John's Union Church of Dry Valley since 1947, prior to that she was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Selinsgrove.   She was a member of The Homemakers Club of New Berlin, a former member of the Ramblers Club of Lewisburg, the National Truck Club of America in Hershey, a life member of the Antique Automobile Club of America in Hershey, the Antique Automobile Club of American in the Shikellamy Region.

Surviving are a daughter Judith (Geise) Bieber and her husband, Glenn of Winfield; and a son William S. Geise and his wife, Kathy L. of Star City, Indiana; four grandchildren, Terri A. Evan and her husband, Jeffrey A. of Dagsboro, DE; Tracy L. Bieber of Lewisburg; Todd G. Bieber of Brooklyn, NY; and Brandan W. Geise and Autumn Slattman of Jacksonville, FL; five great-grandchildren, Abby, Andrew, Emma, Boston, and Lynix; one brother and sister-in-law, James C. Forster and his wife, Linda of Selinsgrove.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother-in-law, Kathryn S. and Dale Lepley.

There will be no public viewing.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10-11:00 am on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Saint John's Union Church of Dry Valley, Winfield.  The funeral will begin at 11 with Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.

Interment will be in Dry Valley Cemetery, Winfield.
