Margaret E. Boyer, 87, of Mifflinburg entered into rest unexpectedly at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on August 19, 1932 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Elmer F. Walter and Ellen R. (Walker) Walter. On January 1, 1952, at the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church she married Clifford L. Boyer, Jr, who survives.
She was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class of 1950.
Margaret was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Cowen.
She enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Clifford, III and Judy Boyer of Winchester, VA, two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca E. and Rev. Glen Souder of Milton, Linda and Alan Elliott of Mifflinburg,10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Clarence Johnson of Lewisburg, and one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Miriam Walter of Mifflinburg.
She is preceded in death three sisters and four brothers, and one great grandchild.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 3 pm on Sunday, December, 29, 2019 at Adamo's, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 3 pm with her son-in-law, Rev. Glen Souder, officiating.
Interment will be private in Mifflinburg Cemetery.
