Lynn M. Metz, 66, of Lewisburg entered into rest at 7:45 am on January 24, 2020 at her residence.
Born on May 21, 1953 in New Brunswick, NJ, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Papp) Metz.
She graduated from Rhode Island University class of 1975.
Lynn was a retired neonatal intensive care nurse at Geisinger Medical Center. She also worked for CareerLink as a administrative assistant..
She was a active volunteer with the American Red Cross and in 2017 she earned the
Northeastern District of American Red Cross Volunteer of the Year.
Lynn enjoyed helping people, crossword puzzles, and reading.
She is survived by several cousins, and her close friend Francine Brown of Tempe, AZ.
Family and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian burial at 11am on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewisburg, with Father Mark Wilke as celebrant.
Interment will be private.
