Lorraine A. Shirk, 58, of Beaver Springs entered into rest at 10:26 am on April 20, 2020 at the resident of a client in Beaver Springs.
Born on November 5, 1961 in Gettysburg, a daughter of Donald and Esther (Sensenig) Geigley of Beavertown. On February 26, 1983, she married James M. Shirk, who survives.
Lorraine was a homemaker and a CNA for Caregivers of America providing in home care.
Lorraine attended Troxelville Mennonite Church.
She enjoyed baking, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting with family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five children and their spouses, Janet E. Martin wife of Wendell of Beaver Springs, Larry N. Shirk husband of Stephanie of McClure, Leon W. Shirk husband of Cynthia of Mifflintown, M. Logan Shirk husband of Kerensa of Altoona, and Bethany J. Shirk of Beaver Springs, 14 grandchildren, two brothers, Elvin and Becky Geigley of McAllisterville, Vern and Jane Geigley of Lancaster. As well as her mother and father-in-law, Phares and Arlene Shirk of Narvon.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy A. Shirk.
Private interment will be in the St. Peter's Independent Bible Church Cemetery, 7812 Middle Rd, Beavertown.
