Lisa J. (Hassinger) Hassinger

Lisa Jean Hassinger, 55 of New Berlin, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 10:00 am at her residence.

She was born on August 31, 1963 in Danville, a daughter of Sonja R. (Brungart) Hassinger and the late James L. Hassinger.

Lisa was a graduate from Milton High School, class of 1981 and had recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Perdue University with a B.S. in Nursing.

Lisa was a Registered Nurse, and loved caring for her pediatric patients.  During her 35 years of nursing, she worked for Geisinger Medical Center, Select Medical, and Holy Spirit Hospital.

She loved her family, patients and pets.

In addition to her mother, Sonja R. Hassinger of Milton, she is survived by her brother, Eric J. Hassinger, an Uncle Oren B. Brungart of Wyomissing, PA and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, her memorial service and burial will be held privately at Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be sent to a no-kill animal shelter of your choosing.
