Linda M. Malloy, 80, of Winfield, entered into eternal life very peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers, after suffering 11 years from the effects of a stroke, on the afternoon of July 17, 2020.
Linda was born May 15, 1940 in Sunbury. Daughter of Harry Troutman Sr. and Elizabeth (Foust) Troutman.
Linda graduated from Danville High School in 1959. She was married to Joseph V Malloy Jr and her passing ended a 46 year union.
She and her husband own Tulpehocken Mountain Spring Water. In later years Linda owned Whispy Willows in Danville, an art and craft shop. She loved sewing and crafts and could really express those talents in her home and business.
She was a member of Jr Women's Club, Welcome Wagon and York County Corvette Club. One of her other joys was vacationing at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, one brother, Charles Troutman Sr, three sisters, Anne Berkebile, Harret Roshon, Mary Jane DeWald, two children; W. Nicholas Adams, Julie A McElroy, Four Granddaughters, Liana Whitmer, Vivian Whitmer, Jane Whitmer, Melissa Whitmer and six Great Grandchildren, Sage, Klohie, Liam, Gavin, Hannah and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by one brother Harry Troutman Jr. and one Grandson J.D. Adams.
Linda's family would like to thank Mary Kay Herman, Bobbi Jo Herman, and Wendy Greathouse for all the years they provided Linda with love and care. A special mention to Geisinger Hospice for the services they provided for Linda's last days.
