Lawrence Jay Ross

Lawrence Jay Ross Sr, 70, of Winfield passed away at 02:57 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at his residence surrounded by family.

He was born on December 6, 1948 in Northumberland, a son of late Joseph Jay Ross and Anna (Kraupa) Rose, as well as his stepfather, Harry Sarvis.  On October 14, 1983, in Selinsgrove, he married the former Christina Marie Hill, who survives.

He was a graduate of Montgomery High School class of 1966.

Larry worked as a diesel mechanic for Cleveland Brothers, and Kepler Bros Trucking.

He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, enjoying the river, and boating.

Surviving are three daughters, Deanna Ross of Danville, Bonnie Frey of Montgomery, Nicole Mowery of Milton, one son Lawrence J Ross, Jr of Montgomery, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way, seven sisters, and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Family and friends are invited to Larry’s life celebration service at 6pm on Saturday May 11, 2019 at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg.
