Joyce B. Arnold

Joyce B. Arnold went home surrounded by her loving family and friends on April 7, 2018 at her residence.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha Boyer of Lewisburg and loving wife of Cecil Arnold of Millmont.

Joyce was a graduate of the 1964 class of Lewisburg High School.  She went on to earn a degree in nursing and retired as an LPN and medical transcriptionist from Evangelical Hospital.  She loved nursing and brought care and compassion to her profession.

She was an active member of West End Bible Fellowship in Laurelton.  Joyce was close in her walk with Christ and volunteered her time in the food pantry and other ministries.  She touched all those lives with whom she came in contact.  Her smile and laugh brought joy to those around her.

She is preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Edgar Boyer, Jr. of Millmont,  Russell Boyer of New Columbia, two sisters, Helen Kerstetter of Pottsgrove, and Mary Sill of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Cecil Arnold of Millmont, one daughter Lynn Smith of Newark, NJ, and a son Jude Todd Smith of Boston, MA, three step-children Allen Arnold and his wife Jennifer of Murfreesboro, AR, Candy and husband Robert Womack of Nashville, AR, Cheryl and husband Wayne Daniels of Hope, AR, two sisters-in-law, Jane Boyer of Millmont, and Donna Boyer of White Deer.  She leaves behind six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her dear friend Norma Hackenberg and a host of close friends and family.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, 11 a.m. at West End Bible Fellowship Church, 19200 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, PA, 17845.

Her cremains will be interred in Sardis Cemetery, Nashville, AR, at a later date.
