She was born on September 4, 1946 in Varnama, India, the daughter of the late Narayanbhai and Lilaben Patel. She was the wife of Ghanshyambhai Patel, who survives.
In keeping with her religious tradition, a private family prayer service will be conducted on Thursday, August 23, 2012, followed by cremation.
Cremation arrangements are by the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, Mifflinburg.
