Hunter Steven Karchner, 21, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 10:15 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital due to injuries sustained in motor vehicle accident.
He was born on March 24, 1998 in Lewisburg, the son of Steven Perry and Connie Jean (Smith) Karchner.
He was a 2016 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School.
Hunter worked at Playworld, Lewisburg.
He attended Mifflinburg Assembly of God Church.
Hunter enjoyed motorcycles, snowboarding, fishing, hunting, softball, taekwondo, jujutsu and hanging out with his friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents is one sister, Brook Karchner at home, paternal grandmother, Sharon Dollar and her husband Ben of Weaver, AL, as well as numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Perry Karchner, and maternal grandparents, William and Mary Smith.
In keeping with Hunter's wishes there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, April 29, 2019 and from 10 to 11AM on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Mifflinburg Assembly of God, 1001 Market St, Mifflinburg, where a life celebration service will be held at 11, with Pastor Johnny Blake, officiating.
Interment will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
