Gloria Jean Poust

Gloria Jean Poust, 76, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 6:40 pm on Monday, November 9, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and devoted dog, Rose`.

Born on September 14, 1944 in Danville, a daughter of the late Norman Samuel Showers and Florence L. (Campbell) Showers. On Sept. 2, 1969, she married Robert D. Poust, Sr. who preceded her in death.

Gloria worked as a flagger for PennDOT, Scarlet D Restaurant, Par Knit Factory, and the Daily Item.

Gloria was a member of Cornerstone UPC, Selinsgrove.

Gloria enjoyed dancing, fishing and riding her bike. She loved all animals and spending time with family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie N. and Timothy Sommers of Montgomery, Florence J. Poust, of Lewisburg, a son, Robert D. Poust Jr and companion, Billie Jo Raker of Mifflinburg, three grandchildren, Alexa Rae Davidson and husband, Neil Davidson, Nathan Z. Poust and companion, Jessica Heimbach, Alisa Rose Poust and companion, Tony E. Richart, two great grandchildren, Blake C. Poust and Everleigh Richart.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Eugene R. Renn.

Family and friends are invited to the memorial service on Thursday at 6 pm at the Cornerstone UPC Church, 701 N. High Street, Selinsgrove, with Pastor Gregg Marshall, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gloria's memory may be sent to Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, Pa 17837 or the ASPCA in you local area.
