Franklin James Murphy

Franklin James Murphy, 69, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 10:45 am on Friday, March 09, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1948 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Harold William Murphy and Helen Jean (Neitz) Sarviss.  On September 07, 1985, he married the former Sherry Lynn Vanatta, who survives.

Frank graduated from Lewisburg High School.

He served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972.

Frank worked as a welder for CMC Steel, New Columbia.

Surviving are two daughters, Danielle Murphy of Mifflinburg, Nicole Murphy of New Berlin, one granddaughter, Emily Young, one brother, Harold Murphy of Maryland, three sisters, Partarica Reynolds of Mifflinburg, Janice Geiswite of Milton, and Pamela Knouse of Milton.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
