Evelyn Faye Martin

Evelyn Faye Martin, 70, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on October 15, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital.

Born on November 22, 1952 in Farmersville, Lancaster County, PA, a daughter of Naomi K. (Zook) Kilmer of Mifflinburg and the late Paul I. Kilmer. On June 28, 1986, in Millmont she married Lloyd M. Martin, who preceded her in death.

Evelyn retired from Mifflinburg Middle School working in the cafeteria for nearly 20 years.

She was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship, Middleburg Evelyn enjoyed traveling, reading, working on puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her mother Naomi, is one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Santos Hernandez and their daughter Hannah of Mifflinburg, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon L. and Elsie Kilmer of Shippensburg, Lloyd Z. and Brenda Kilmer of Mifflinburg, one sister and brother-in-law, Lois A. and Glenn Ranck of Cochranville. She is also survived by numerous extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 from 10 to 11 am at Faith Christian Fellowship, Middleburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 with Pastor Nelson Gingerich officiating.

Interment will be in Millmont Mennonite Church Cemetery.
