Eva Florence Keister, 64, of Middleburg, formerly of Laurelton and Shamokin, passed away at 3 p.m. Sunday,July 29, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born on July 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Robert, Jr. and June Britton. On May 19, 2008, in Laurelton, she married Donald E. Keister who survives.
Eva was a 1966 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
She drove flag car for Debbie's Flag Car Service for seven years.
She attended West End Bible Fellowship, Laurelton. Shewas a member of the Sons of Italy, Shamokin, Knights of Columbus, Shamokin, New Berlin of American Legion, Post957 Ladies Auxiliary, and Mifflinburg VFW Post 196 Ladies Auxiliary.
Eva enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, camping, and fishing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and two daughters, Charles Wagner and wife Dawn of Mifflinburg; Dina Campos and husband Eloy of Danville, Kelly Colahan and husband Jamesof Frackville; 15 grandchildren;six great-grandchildren, six sisters, Mary Yancheski and husband Robert of Mt. Carmel, Lee Rushoe and husband James of Shamokin, Barbara Frazier of Shamokin, Ruth Miscavage and husband John of Shamokin, Elise Adams and husband John of Shamokin, Alberta Britton of Sunbury, three brothers, Robert Britton, III and wife Donna of Shamokin, Charles Britton of Shamokin and Andrew Britton, Sr. of Shamokin.
She was preceded in death by a infant son William K. Rushoe; one sister, Gracie Forbes; one brother, Harry Britton.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ray W. Rothermel Funeral Home, 55 W. Valley Ave. Elysburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 7 with the Rev. Richard L. DeVett, officiating.
Interment will be conducted privately.
The family welcomes flowers.
