Ethel Mae Woolsey, 83, of Mifflinburg, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born April 17, 1929, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Norman and Hattie (Snyder) Miller. On April 29, 1948, in Hagerstown, Md., she married Robert Carson Woolsey who passed away on Oct. 16, 2008.
Ethel was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Mt. Deliverance Worship Center, New Columbia, and attended activities at the Lewisburg Senior Center.
Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda Summers, of Sunbury, Barbara and Ken Sauers, of Mifflinburg, Cathy Fitzgerald, of Florida, and Dixie and Ken Sims, of Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Tracy Woolsey, of Sunbury; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Arlene Badger, of Mifflinburg; and two brothers, Dale Miller, of New Columbia, and Lester Miller, of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ginger Marie Towers, and one grandson, Herbert Lee Gauger.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Carl E. Varner and her nephew, the Rev. Butch Woolsey, officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Deliverance Cemetery, New Columbia.
