Ethel Minnie Bilger, 93, of Lewisburg formerly of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 12:13 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center.
She was born on August 18, 1925 in Buffalo Township, a daughter of the late Foster J. and Minnie (Heintzelman) Walter. On December 19, 1941 in Mazeppa she married George Harold Bilger who preceded her in death on October 12, 1995. She was remarried on June 13, 1997 to Walter Clinton Fullerton who passed away on Oct 12, 2007.
Ethel retired from Quaker Manufacturing, Lewisburg, as a Seamstress after 36 years.
She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Ethel was full of life and energy right up to her passing; she enjoyed spending time with her family, and dancing.
Surviving are three sons, George H. and Linda Bilger, Jr of Mifflinburg, David F. and Kitty Bilger of White Deer, Steven W. and Wendy Bilger of Millmont, two daughters, Sandra L. Tristian and partner Peter Gillmore of Grand Cayman Island, Anna R. and John Lazeski of Sarsota, FL, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Leuthner, one grandson, Scotty Showers, brothers, Leon Walter, Harold Walter, Homer Walter, and two sisters, Irene Bilger and Edna Wenrich.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Steve Stoltzfus, officiating.
Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
