Edwin E. Hollenbach, 75, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest early Thursday morning, August 30, 2018 at 3:47 am, while a patient at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on October 5, 1942 in Kratzerville, he was a son of the late Elwood and Esther Hollenbach.
He was a 1960 graduate of Mifflinburg High School. He went on to get his electrician certificate and worked for PPL Electric until his retirement.
He was a farrier and in his free time, he enjoyed 2-step and ballroom dancing, hunting, riding horses, participating in parades with his Appaloosas and being a cowboy.
Edwin is survived by his daughter, Tish Luckabaugh and her husband Lee of Mifflinburg; his granddaughter, Sydney Luckabaugh of Mifflinburg; his brother, Donald Hollenbach of San Jose, CA, and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, September 7 and from 9 to 10 am on Saturday, September 8 at Harvest Bible Chapel Union County, 115 Freedom Road, Mifflinburg. The service will begin at 10:00 am with Pastor Steve Stoltzfus officiating.
Interment with full military honors accorded by veterans of the Mifflinburg American Legion and other area veterans will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
