Edna Marie Wenrick, 87, of Lewisburg formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Riverwoods.
She was born on December 20, 1928 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Foster and Minnie (Heintzelman) Walter. On October 08, 1947, she married Leon Ray Wenrick, who passed away on January 08, 1996. Together, they shared 48 years of memories.
Edna worked at the former Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg.
She was a former member of Cowen Lutheran Church.
Surviving is one son, Kenneth A. Wenrick of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Erin Wenrick of Los Angeles, CA, Alex Wenrick of Phoenix; and one sister, Ethel Bilger of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Leon Walter, Harold Walter, Homer Walter, and one sister, Irene Bilger.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 12 to 1 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 1, with the Rev. Peter Geshwindner, Chaplin of Riverwoods, officiating.
Interment will be in the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren.
