Earl “Jack” Nentwig, 86, of Lewisburg entered into rest at 1:04 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at RiverWoods.
He was born on December 25, 1929 in Manheim, the son of the late Howard and Ruth (Shonk) Nentwig. On May 27, 1950 in Maytown he married the former Catharine May Engle, who survives. Together, they shared 66 years of memories.
He was a graduate of Central Manheim High School.
Jack worked for Interstate Motor Freight, Lancaster and New Columbia. Earlier in life he worked for Raybesto in Manheim, Pa.
He was a member of the Lewisburg Alliance Church where he served as an Elder, and was on the church board.
Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jack David Nentwig of Sunbury, Joel H. and Susan Nentwig of New Berlin, and one grandson, Todd Brady Nentwig.
He was preceded in death by son, Randall Jay Nentwig.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:30 to 11 am on Tuesday at the Lewisburg Alliance Church, 137 Supplee Mill Road, where to funeral will be held at 11, with Dr. Rubins Ruba, Pastor Michael Phelps, and Pastor Les Conklin, officiating.
Interment will be in the Maytown Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack`s memory may be sent to Lewisburg Alliance Church, 137 Supplee Mill Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
