Dorothy M. Stover, 86, of Watsontown entered into rest on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on April 11, 1930 in Limestone Twp, Montour County, the daughter of the late Allen Willard and Mildred E. “Temple” Betz. On June 30, 1950 in the Strawberry Ridge Hill Church she married Kermit Curtis Stover, who passed away on July 26, 1998.
Dorothy was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watsontown.
Dorothy enjoyed cooking, baking, walking her dog, playing 500 rummy card games, spending time with family, and attending family reunions.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Terry C. and Mary Stover of Watsontown, two daughters and one son-in-law, Nikki Lee Kelly of Millheim, Lori and Chris McCowin of Ellwood City, Pa, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five sisters, Clara Benfer of Danville, Pa, Jean Long of Selinsgrove, Hannah Jarret of Turbotville, Janet Hans of Muncy, Patty Yost of Conneaut Lake, Pa.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Olive Mincemoyer, three brothers, Bill Betz, Layton Betz, and Bud Betz.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 1, with the Rev. James H. Fladland, officiating.
Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
