Doris Jane Iddings, 90, of Mifflinburg entered in rest at 10:20 PM on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Riverwoods following a brief illness.
She was born on February 16, 1927 in Shamokin, the daughter of the late Claude and Cora Mae (Reitz) Neiswender. On October 19, 1946, she married H. Dean Iddings, who passed away on March 04, 1994.
Doris worked at John Wilcox’s Mifflinburg Lanes from 1964 until her retirement in 2004.
She was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ, Mifflinburg.
Doris enjoyed making ceramics and bowling.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-laws, Nancy and John Wilcox of Lewisburg, Susan and Randy Kerstetter of Milton, Kerry and Brian Forbes of McClure, 3 grandsons, Kurt Kerstetter, Matthew Forbes, Luke Forbes, and 3 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held privately on Friday with Pastor Ted Justice, officiating.
Interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
