Donna Kay Mattive, 68, of Penns Creek entered into rest at 07:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on December 27, 1947 in Berwick, the daughter of Blaine C. Gearhart of Nescopeck and Betty (Davis) Andress of Berwick. On July 12, 1969, she married Terrance T. Mattive, Sr, who survives.
Donna worked as a special Education Teacher at Midd-West School District, retiring in 2007. She and her husband also owned and operated T&D's Cats of the World, a refuge for exotic animals.
Surviving in addition to her husband, is one son, Terrance T. Mattive, Jr and wife Danielle of Penns Creek, one daughter, Jennifer K. Mattive Beaver and husband Patrick of Penns Creek, three grandchildren, Calvin Beaver, Deandra Mattive, Terrance Mattive, III, two sisters, Patricia Rupp of Berwick, Brenda Parks of ALtanta, GA.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
It was Donna’s wish for memorial contributions to be sent to T&D Cats's of the World, PO Box 186, Penns Creek, PA 17862, to continue to provide a refuge for exotic animals.
