Donald Eugene Witmer, 66, of Millmont entered into rest on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on May 7, 1957 in Danville, a son of Geraldine (Beachel) Witmer of Winfield and the late Paul K. Witmer. On September 14, 1974, he married the former Miriam E. (Thomas) Witmer, who survives.
He attended Shikellamy Schools and Votech for electrician training.
Don owned and operated Don Witmer and Sons Construction. Earlier in life he worked at Keystone Enterprise and Kuhns Brothers Log Homes.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching T.V., and Steeler football.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife Miriam, are four sons and their spouses, Jeremy P. and Andrea D. Witmer of Mifflinburg, Joshua P. and Jill A. Witmer of Millmont, Jevin E. and Jonelle D. Witmer of Mifflinburg, Justin K. and Leilani K. Witmer of Mifflinburg, 14 grandchildren, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra E. and Scott Tice of Middleburg, Sharon D. and Thomas Kuhns of Mifflinburg, and one brother and sister-in-law, Steven D. and Judy Witmer of Winfield.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023 at Mifflinburg church of the Nazarene, 12 East Market Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 with Rev. John Zechman officiating.
Interment will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Don's memory may be sent to Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 to assist the family with expenses.
