Donald G. Geigley, 83, of Beavertown, entered into rest on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on January 29, 1941 in Gettysburg, a son of the late Roy M. and Gladys (Martin) Geigley. On December 17, 1960 in Hampton, PA he married the former Esther M. Sensenig, who survives.
Donald attended Troxelville Mennonite Church.
Donald was a farmer. He thoroughly enjoyed farming and John Deere tractors.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Esther, are two sons, Elvin and Rebecca Geigley of McAllisterville, Vernon and Jane Geigley of Lancaster, son-in-law, James M. Shirk of Beaver Springs, 12 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, six siblings and their spouses, Ray and Dorothy Geigley of Shippensburg, Anna Lois Miller of New Mexico, Esther Mae and Harley Kauffman of New Mexico, Arlin and Becky Geigley of Colorado, Alvin and Carolyn Geigley of Iowa, Leon and Barb Geigley of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorraine Shirk, a granddaughter, Judy A. Shirk, two brothers Melvin Geigley and Glenn Geigley.
Family and friends are invited to viewing on from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at New Life Fellowship Church, 19750 US 522, Beaver Springs, where the funeral will be held at 10 am on Friday with the Troxelville Mennonite Church Ministry; Gerald High, Warren Faust, Jeffery Yoder, and Bernell Zimmerman officiating
Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Independent Bible Church Cemetery, 7812 Middle Rd, Beavertown.
