Debra Lynn Dressler, 65, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 11:14 am on February 13, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.
Born on August 5, 1954 in Lewisburg, a daughter of Mary Ellen Hoffman and her husband Ed Nye of Lewisburg and the late Forrest S. Hoffman. On Nov. 19, 1972 she married William Dale Dressler, who passed away on May 27, 2015.
Deb was graduate of Mifflinburg High School Class of 1972.
She was a member of Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
Deb worked as a secretary at the Mifflinburg Area High School for 18 years. Earlier in life she and her husband owned and operated Dressler's Appliance and Electric and served as the Mifflinburg Boro Tax Collector.
She enjoyed being with family and following her grandson's sporting events.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy L. and SuzAnne Dressler of Mifflinburg, Jason A. and Danielle Dressler of Mifflinburg, three grandsons, Cade Dressler, Hunter Dressler, and Troy Dressler, four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Cathy and Seth Neuhauser of Mifflinburg, Brenda and Harry Hubbert of Mifflinburg, Sharyn and Sam Zimmerman New Berlin, and Sheryl Fetter, Mifflinburg, two brothers-in-law and spouses, Richard and Marian Dressler, Stillwater, ME, Robert and Robin Dressler of Florida, two sisters-in-law and spouses, Martha and Sam Gill of Lewisburg, Janet Graham of MIfflinburg. Also, special family friends Paul and Angie Yoder and family of Mifflinburg.
In addition to her father Forry, she is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Lemuel and Pauline Dressler.
At Deb's request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, Feb. 17, and from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Dreisbach United Church of Christ, 875 Dreisbach Church Road, where the funeral will be held at 11, with Pastor Nate Druckenmiller, officiating.
Interment will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
The family request no flowers. The family has experienced many acts of kindness from the community throughout Deb's illness and requests that in her memory that that you help someone who may be in need.
