David L. Wagner

January 12, 1928 — July 16, 2015

David L. Wagner, 87, of 905 Green Street, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:00 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Rolling Hills Manor, where he was a patient less than a day.

He was born on January 12, 1928 in Lewisburg, a son of the late James and Mildred (Rohland) Wagner.  On September 10, 1953, he married the former Emma Herman, who survives.

David graduated from Lewisburg High School class of 1945.

He served in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Palau until his honorable discharge.

David worked as a truck dispatcher for 41 years for Faylor-Middlecreek, Inc.

He was a life member of the Mifflinburg Moose, Lodge #1396, member of Mifflinburg VFW, Post #1964, and member of Mifflinburg American Legion, Post #410.

David enjoyed golf, poker, bowling, and shooting pool.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Charles Bard of Liverpool, Druanne and John Tolochko of Boonton, NJ, five grandchildren, Sydney Bard, Tessa Bard, and Mollie Bard, Michelle Tolochko and Scott Tolochko, one brother, Guy Wagner of Lewisburg, one sister, Mary Printzenhoff of Mifflinburg.

He was preceded in death by one son, David L. Wagner, Jr .

Private services will be conducted at Mifflinburg Cemetery.
