David E. Snyder, Sr.

David Earl Snyder, Sr., 70, of Mifflinburg passed away at 11:05 AM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his residence.

Born on December 04, 1947 in, Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Orville David Snyder and Virginia (Slight) Snyder.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Snyder (Pratt).

David was a 1965 graduate of Council Rock School, Newtown, PA.

He was an honorable-discharged member of the U.S. Army.

David worked in sales, including Intel and Dupont.  He was instrumental at D&H Distributing where he created the tech service department.

Some of David’s interested included, outdoors, road trips, adventures and photography.  He had a patient for learning new things and his children can recall him taking classes at the University of Virginia, including computers, technology and history.  David had conservative values and was a simple man.

He is survived by three sons; David E. Snyder Jr (Anne Marie) from Camp Hill, PA; Darren E. Snyder (Stacey) from Nazareth, PA; Derek E. (Michelle) from Harrisburg, PA; four grandchildren, Meghan Smith, Katie Thompson, Joshua Biggerstaff and Haley Snyder; and a sister, Sheron Stratton of Levittown, PA.

Full military services will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap.
