Linda Darlene Haire, 57, of 501 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg entered into rest at 9:20 AM on Monday, April 30, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on August 7, 1954 in Durham, NH, the daughter of the late Mardean R. Miller, Sr. and Ruth (Terry) Miller. On December 27, 1998, in Gulf Breeze, Florida she married Gary Lee Haire, who survives.
Darlene began her career working as a teller at Annapolis Bank & Trust in 1972. She then moved to Florida where she worked in retail. In 1999 she and Gary moved to Mifflinburg and she began working at Swineford National Bank, Mifflinburg Office as a teller, she retired in June of 2011 as an assistant manager at the Hummels Wharf office.
Darlene was a collector of Victorian Era clothing and furnishings. She enjoyed flea markets, antiquing, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Graci, Emmit, and Teddy.
Darlene is the last of here immediate family.
She was preceded in death by one brother; Mardean R. Miller, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg. A service of prayer and reflection will be conducted at 8 with the Rev. Ronald Warfle, officiating.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Navarre, FL.
