Dallas Warren Bailey

Dallas Warren Bailey, 98, of Mifflinburg formerly of Selinsgrove entered into rest at 5:01 pm on Friday, March 29, 2019 at his residence surrounded by family.

He was born February, 25, 1921 in Winfield to the late Peter and Fietta (Knouse) Bailey. On October 3, 1938 he married the former Evelyn Ellen Mull who preceded him in death in 2005. They celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Dallas worked as a forklift operator for 38 years at Weis Markets Warehouse in the frozen department. Earlier in life he worked as a farmer for many years.

He was a member of the Selinsgrove Masonic Lodge.

Dallas enjoyed woodworking, and was known as a jack of all trades.

Surviving are one son, Robert and Linda Bailey of State College, one daughter, Marian Stauffer of Stewart, FL; 8 grandchildren, Scott, Gary, Lori, Jeff, Tina, Leann, Leslie, and Tiffany; 14 great grandchildren, Graham, Gretchen, Matthew, Neila, Andrea, Heather, Carli, Taylor, Emily, Abigail, Josiah, Justin, Terran, McKenna, and 16 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelva Brouse, seven brothers, one sister, and two great grandchildren, Joshua Bailey and Travis Rittenhouse.

Relatives and friends and respectfully invited to attend the interment at Shriners Cemetery at 11:30 am on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
