Cora W. (Byler) Miller

Cora W. Miller, 82, of Mifflinburg went to be with her Lord at 9:15 pm on Wednesday, May 09, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born on August 17, 1935 in Dover, the daughter of the late William W. and Lydia G. (Bender) Byler.  On April 12, 1956, she married Joseph E. Miller, Sr, who survives.  They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

She was a homemaker.

Cora was member of Faith Christian Fellowship, Middleburg.

She was a loving wife, mother and enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings.

Surviving are one daughter, Janet Miller of Mifflinburg, four sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Kathy Miller of Middleburg, Ken Miller of Mifflinburg, Dan and Luella Miller of Lewisburg, Joseph Miller Jr of Mifflinburg, one daughter-in-law, Gloria Reinford of Middleburg, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Simon and Cora Byler of Catlett, VA, two sisters and son-in-law, Saloma and Andy Schrock of Catlett, VA, Martha Yoder of Catlett, VA, one sister-in-law, Fannie Byler of Grove City, MN.  Also survived by many extended family members and church family.

She was preceded in death by one son, Willie Earl Miller, one daughter-in-law, Marie ( Pushar) Miller, one brother, Alvin W. Byler, three sisters, Anna Mary Byler, Rhoda Byler, and Irene Stutzman, one brother and one sister, Allen and Emma who died in infancy, one sister-in-law Barbara Byler, three brothers-in-law,  Jerry Stutzman, Alvin D. Byler, Homer P. Yoder, and a great grandson, Asa Michael Miller.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 and from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday at the Faith Christian Fellowship, 12 North Creamery Ave, Middleburg. The funeral will be held at 2 on Sunday, May 13, 2018, with Pastors David L. Swartzentruber and Keith Weaver, officiating.

Interment will be in the Millmont Mennonite Church Cemetery.
