Christopher W. Cuneo, 66, of 9 White Birch Circle, Wellsboro, PA passed into God’s presence on June 28, 2016 due to heart disease at Hershey Medical Center.
He was born on August 14, 1949 in Connellsville, PA, to William and Geraldine (Davis) Cuneo. He graduated from Connellsville High School in 1967 and from Indiana Univ. of PA in 1971 and later received his Master’s degree in Speech Therapy.
On November 25, 1972, he married Veronica (Pavlik), daughter of John and Sophia Pavlik of Scottdale, PA. Chris worked for Midd West School district as a speech therapist for 33 years. He also spent many summers painting homes.
He enjoyed traveling and fulfilled a dream of moving out West with Veronica living 6 months in Estes Park, CO and a few years in Sedona, Arizona.
Chris was a sports enthusiast and was the proud father and biggest fan of his three sons, Joel, Ian and Zachary, daughter-in-law Lindsey (Davis) Cuneo and their five beautiful grandchildren: Liliana, Lucas, Jude Gabriel and Asher. Chris is survived by his seven siblings Lewis, John, Ed, Mary Guess, Susan Bertrum, Barry and Marty Cuneo, and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Chris is and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
There will be a life celebration on Saturday July 9 at 1:00pm at the Harvest Bible Chapel, 115 Freedom Rd, Mifflinburg, PA 17844.
